US toll free numbers have been in existence since 1967 so the market is very established. AT&T were the 1st supplier of USA toll free numbers and soon many thousands of organisations started to use them. It didn't take long for the commercials to become affordable for almost every business in the USA to use such a number. This created a problem as there were only so many numbers available for sale.
Toll free numbers in the USA started out as 1800 numbers and due to the popularity the country regulator had to introduce new number ranges that were toll free. Now the USA have several number ranges that are toll free. These include:-
- 1800 numbers
- 1888 numbers
- 1877 numbers

At the moment we are supplying 1866, 1855 and 1877 toll free numbers as all other number ranges are not available. These numbers are widely known as USA toll free numbers along with its other ranges. 1866, 1855 and 1877 numbers will eventually run out but the USA have been very smart as they have already allocated the following codes as toll free number ranges:-
1855, 1844. 1833, 1822, 1889 and 1880 all the way to 1887.
